Padel Simrishamn: find players on Österlen

Simrishamn is the main town of Österlen, with its fishing harbour, low terraced houses and the sea to the east. Many people live here all year, but in summer the coast fills with holiday homeowners and tourists. Padelpoolen makes it easy to find partners whether you live here or are only visiting for a few weeks.

The municipality is spread out: Kivik on Hanö Bay, Gärsnäs and Borrby inland and Skillinge to the south on the coast. It can take twenty minutes between villages, so always put the club and start time in the match. Then a player from Kivik can see right away whether the evening is worth the trip.

The season shapes padel more here than in most places. In summer there are plenty of players and short notice works, while winter needs a bit more planning. Post matches a few days ahead in the low season and set a level between 1 and 10, so the right players find them.

For summer visitors it is often hard to know who plays. An open match with free spots solves that, and an Americano with rotating partners becomes a social way to meet others on holiday. King of the court works well when several courts are booked at once.

If Simrishamn is quiet, Ystad lies down the coast to the south and Kristianstad to the north. Compare the neighbours' city pages and choose the match where time and travel suit you best.
