Padel Båstad: find players on the Bjäre peninsula

Båstad is known for its tennis week by the sea, but padel has grown quickly on the Bjäre peninsula. The Hallandsåsen ridge rises behind the town and the coast towards Torekov draws visitors all year. Many residents want matches close to home instead of travelling to Ängelholm or Helsingborg. Padelpoolen gathers the peninsula's players so you can see who is looking for partners right now.

The municipality stretches from Båstad's harbour out to Torekov in the west, with Förslöv, Grevie and Östra Karup in the countryside. Distances are short but decide who can make it after work. State the club and exact start time in the match from the outset, so someone from Torekov can judge whether the evening works.

In winter the peninsula is quiet and it is the residents who fill the matches. A session straight after work or a Sunday morning is usually easiest to fill. Add a level between 1 and 10 and the number of free spots, and the match finds players who share your schedule.

In summer Båstad transforms as visitors stream in, and suddenly there are far more players who want a match during their holiday week. It is a good moment to create an Americano where summer guests and locals mix and switch partners each round. The app handles schedule and points, and king of the court works well if you have several courts booked.

If the feed is empty on a particular day, the neighbours are close. The city pages for Ängelholm and Helsingborg show games along the coast in both directions. Choose the option where the journey home works for everyone, and you will get more matches over time instead of one long outing.
