Padel Klippan: find players below the Söderåsen ridge

Klippan lies in northwestern Scania where the Rönne å river runs straight through town, with the Söderåsen ridge and Skäralid in the backyard. The town is otherwise known for its paper mill, but in the evenings the padel courts are taking over as the meeting point. Padelpoolen shows who is looking for partners in Klippan and the surrounding villages.

The municipality is spread out: Klippan in the centre, Östra Ljungby to the north, Ljungbyhed with its old airbase to the south and Röstånga at the entrance to the national park. Some villages are several kilometres apart, so name the venue and start time when you post the match. Then someone in Östra Ljungby can judge straight away whether the evening works.

The train on the Helsingborg to Hässleholm line stops in Klippan, but most people drive to work. Sessions just after six and long weekend evenings therefore fill fastest, while lunchtime sessions suit those who work nearby. Set the level between 1 and 10 so the match is even from the first ball.

If you are new to Klippan, perhaps having moved with the mill or the healthcare sector, an open match with free spots is the fastest way to meet people. When you have the whole hall to yourselves, an Americano with rotating pairs works excellently. Note who plays well together, add them as padel friends and the next evening is half booked.

When the feed is thin in Klippan, Åstorp, Eslöv and Hässleholm are nearby, and Helsingborg and Båstad have their own city pages. Check what is happening among the neighbours and pick the match where both the trip there and the trip home feel reasonable.
